Assignments for the the week of November 3rd

Parents:  Thank you for checking this site.  As many of you know, I am due to have a baby at the beginning of November.  Mrs. Pat Wall will be my substitute and she will have access to my email should you have any questions.  I am trying to update this web page for the next few weeks, not knowing when I will be going on maternity leave.  I plan to return to school the last week of school in December.  Please understand that this site may not continue to be updated until that point.  Thank you for your understanding!

7th grade Social Studies:  We will be finishing chapter 4 over the next couple of weeks.  A test is scheduled for November 13th with notebooks due the following day.  We will take 2 days to review for this test in class.  As always, tests may be signed for extra credit. 

7th grade Reading:  We are beginning The Outsiders on Monday the 3rd.  Students will be given a vocabulary packet at the beginning of the book and should expect vocab quizzes approximately once a week;  the 1st vocab quiz will be November 6th (Thursday).  Throughout the story students will have assignments over each chapter and in class activities.

6th grade Religion:  We will be completing our rosary unit soon.  On Tuesday, November 4th students will have a quiz where they will need to name all the mysteries of the rosary.  After this we will begin a rosary meditation book, the majority of which should be completed in class.  In this prayer booklet students will create an illustration and a meditation to go along with all 20 mysteries of the rosary. 
We have finished our saints research and will postpone creating our powerpoint presentations until I return from maternity leave.
